Maryhill Against Racism - Public Meeting
Wednesday, 8 July at 6PM at Maryhill Burgh Halls
There will be a public meeting at Maryhill Burgh Halls on Wednesday, 8 July to discuss how we build unity in the community, during a time of a disturbing increase of racism and racially driven attacks.
Speaking about the event, STUC General Secretary Roz Foyer said, “The events in Edinburgh are a terrible reminder of what we already knew. The activities of the far right are a threat to all people of colour and to the cohesion of our communities. Maryhill is my community. Wherever racism lifts its ugly head, the trade union movement will be there to counter it.”
