Disability Friendly Services
“That this Congress calls on the General Council to encourage affiliated trade union organisations in Scotland to promote disability friendly workplaces through their collective bargaining arrangements.
“The development of a disability friendly workplace should include:
- development of the concept of a trade union disability advocate;
- training for the workforce including managers and trade union representatives; and
- training on possible reasonable adjustments and the negotiation of reasonable adjustments.”
