STUC comment on 13th Note closure threat
Commenting, STUC General Secretary Roz Foyer said:
“This is the mother of all scapegoats from the employer. Staff at the 13th Note have led the way in standing up for their rights, seeking fairer conditions and improvements in health and safety.
“For the employer to now appoint liquidators, after pledging to go through ACAS to seek a resolution and mere days after staff took historic industrial action, is an incredibly shameful and all too revealing escalation on their part.
“A solution can still be found. We would encourage the employer to stand by their staff, listen to their concerns and find a way forward to ensure they have a workplace that puts safety and decent terms and conditions at its heart."
