Along with a range of affiliates and campaign groups, the STUC and the STUC Women’s Committee successfully lobbied for support for the Period Products (Free Provision) (Scotland) Bill lodged by Monica Lennon MSP. The Bill will be debate in the parliament on Tuesday 25th February.

The Scottish Government has indicated its support for the general principles of the Bill. This is good news and rewards the campaigning and lobbying undertaken.

Although the Scottish Government has indicated it will support the general principles the debate on Tuesday remains an important stage of the Bill and a time for all supporters to come together to show the strength in campaigning and activism.

Please note the updated timings for the rally and debate on Tuesday 25 February.
