On September 11th 2003, millions of Chileans and their supporters continue the preparations to commemorate 30 years of the fall of the democratic government of socialist president Salvador Allende on 11 September 1973.

STUC, Chile Democratico and Amnesty International urge those who support democracy and human rights to sign this public statement as a sign of support for the 30th anniversary commemorations of the Chilean coup.
