In an emergency statement from the STUC headquarters in Glasgow General Secretary Bill Speirs fiercely condemned the overnight bombing of the Palestinian General Federation of Trade Unions (PGFTU) headquarters in Nablus, by Israeli helicopters.
7th : Deir Yassin Remembered
Speaking at a ceremony in Glasgow to mark the 54th anniversary of the massacre of Palestinians in the village of Deir Yassin by Zionist forces, STUC General Secretary Bill Speirs calls for a boycott of Israeli goods and services.
