The STUC Union Rep Awards nomination process asks unions to identify lay activists who have excelled in the promotion of the workplace learning agenda, equalities or health and safety within their union, workplace or community. The reps were invited to visit the Scottish Parliament by the First Minister during the STUC Annual Congress in Ayr, held earlier this year.
