STUC Delight at Glasgow’s Successful Bid for the 2014 Commonwealth Games
The Scottish Trades Union Congress (STUC) today (Friday 9 November) welcomed the announcement of the City of Glasgow’s success in securing the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
STUC General Secretary, Grahame Smith, said:
“Glasgow’s successful bid for the 2014 Commonwealth Games is a tremendously exciting opportunity which has the potential to make a huge difference to Glasgow, and all of Scotland.”
