STUC Welcomes Interest Rate Decision

Commenting on the Monetary Policy Committee’s decision to keep interest rates at 5.75%, Stephen Boyd, STUC Assistant Secretary said:

“The MPC’s decision is correct. The full impact of the recent rises has yet to be realised and another rise at this moment in time would have threatened the strengthening recovery in manufacturing”.
