STUC Skills & Lifelong Learning Team Announces Upcoming Learning Events in Scotland
The STUC Skills & Lifelong Learning Team has announced a number of Learning Events that are taking place in Scotland around Trade Union Week in the Scottish Parliament (Monday 4 – Thursday 7 December 2006).
• Sarah Boyack MSP will address the Edinburgh Local Forum at 10.30am on Wednesday 28 November in the Lothian Trade Union Resource Centre, 26 -28 Albion Street, Edinburgh.
• Michael McMahon MSP will address the Lanarkshire Local Forum at 10.30am on Friday 1 December in the Jimmy Brandon Learning Centre, Hamilton Road, Motherwell.
• Cathy Peattie MSP will meet with RMT & TSSA Union Learning Reps at 11.00am on Monday 4 December at the Thomas Cook Call Centre, Block 4, Central Business Park, Larbert.
• MSPs will meet with Union Learning Reps from all over Scotland at 4.00pm on Wednesday 8 December in the Scottish Parliament - Committee Room 4.
• Maureen Macmillan MSP will address the Inverness Local Forum on Monday 11 December at 11.15am to discuss ‘Unions and lifelong learning in the Highlands & Islands’ in the Unison Building, 53 Shore Street, Inverness.
