At its July meeting the General Council agreed that a member of the Secretariat, Mary Senior, should take up the offer from the TUC to participate in a visit to Malawi together with the TUC Project Officer. For the STUC the visit aims were to explore possible project work between the MCTU and STUC, and in particular consider the needs of the Malawian trade union movement and possible interventions to meet these needs.
