  • Trade Union Week at the Scottish Parliament.

The STUC will be holding a week of events and exhibitions at the Scottish Parliament between Monday 4th and Friday 8th December 2006. As well as launching the STUC "7 for 2007" manifesto the General Council will meet with all the main parties in the Parliament to discuss priorities for 2007 and beyond. Events which may be of interest include:

Tuesday, 4 December 10.30am: Prospect: Launch of Scottish Science Study

Tuesday, 4 December 5.00pm: Representing and Organising Migrant Workers: Challenges and Opportunities. (STUC)

Wednesday, 5 December 1.00pm Fringe meeting (UNISON) Fringe meeting (PCS)

Thursday, 7 December 1.00pm A 'Manifesto for the Creative, Cultural and Media Industries' (Scottish Federation of Entertainment Unions)

Thursday, 7 December 3.30pm Justice for Agency Workers (CWU)
