Project Administrator

Full time, £28,299 – £31,065

The STUC is seeking to recruit a full-time Project Administrator. This post is funding-dependent and will be offered as temporary until end March 2020.

The Project Administrator will support young workers, with a focus on those in precarious work, to access learning and skills opportunities which will (in general) be funded through the Scottish Union Learning - Learning Fund. This will include organising events, supporting courses and linking with STUC initiatives such as the Better than Zero Campaign. The Project Administrator will also support Better than Zero activities more generally.

Candidates will have a demonstrable commitment to trade union values.

Campaigns & Communications Officer

(Part-time – 14 hours per week)

Salary: £32271 - £34291 - £35471 (pro rata)

The Scottish Trades Union Congress is seeking to recruit a part-time, temporary Campaigns and Communications Officer to support its work. The post is temporary until 31st March 2020.

The Campaigns and Communications Officer will work as part of a team assisting in the organisation and promotion of key STUC campaigns and events, using media, website and social media platforms to promote the policies and campaigns of the STUC and its affiliates.
